Lucerne Man Held For Court In Aggravated Assault Case
John Shimpko of Lucerne was held for court on a charge of aggravated assault and battery after a head on collision with Chester Miller en route to Homer City. Kathleen Burns, a Bon Ton clerk from Lucerne, was thrown through the windshield, sustaining a deep injury. The incident occurred near the Greenwood cemetery gate about 10 30 p m on May 17 as Miller and Burns returned from Indiana in Miller's car. The hearing before Squire C C Mc Lain followed the crash.
