Eight Area Counties Involved in Appalachian Corridor Plan

Gettysburg College ends its era with McCreary gift

Gettysburg College announces a major expansion funded by the McCreary Foundation established in 1952 by Harry McCreary. Indiana bank killer leaves eight shells at scene

Bertha Mas Moore 81 of 223 Water Street Indiana died Saturday morning in the hospital. The Indiana bank robbery ended with a fatal shooting after a suspected lone bandit looted about 1500 dollars from the bank and fled in a 1965 model car. Local residents recalled the gunman as about 35 with a crew cut, neatly dressed. The incident triggered a bank alarm and state police investigation as townspeople stood on the street. Four bank employees were ordered to lie face down during the holdup. He returned to the main room to shoot after looting the vault.
