Donald Boyd twelve year old son of Mr and Mrs William Boyd of 217 North Penn street Punxauslawney accidentally strangled himself with a lasso in his room Tuesday afternoon. He died at Adrian Hospital at nine oclock with inquest deemed unnecessary. Funeral arrangements set with services at 730 pm Thursday and again at Parker's Landing Bowser Funeral Home with Rev John E Allgood officiating. Burial in Presbyterian cemetery Parker's Landing.

Seniors Win At Luxenbergs Gift Clock Stopped at 12 Minutes
Luxenberg's Jewelry store displayed a strange gift clock that halted at twelve minutes past eleven last night. It shows the hour on Jamis Steffey and the minute on Miss Louie McMillen, both from Creekside and Indiana respectively, as the 1931 high school gapjack class members to receive Bulova watches. Four watches will be awarded after the commencement in the Big School building Friday night May 1st. The clock was started at 2:00 Thursday May 28 by George W. Myre, president of the college. Crowds gathered for the event.
