Phillips reportedly did not obtain any money.
Toledo June 3 Harold Hurley a nineteen year old former first patient in the country to undergo brain pressure relief surgery to reform delinquents disappeared after taking $50 from his shoe company employer to deposit at a bank. He did not appear and has not been heard from since.
An advertisement claims Phenalein eases irregular habits and social withdrawal by soothing a clogged system. It markets “the gentlest and most pleasing bowel remedy” available, sold for 26 cents or directly from The Bux Chee ftul Co in Chicago.
