Barclay Scholarship Awarded to United Graduate
Misa Constance F. Kelly of Seward R D 1 was named recipient of the first J. Boyd Granny Barclay Scholarship to Indiana State College. Sponsored by the Indiana Lions Club, the $100 grant aids a graduate of an Indiana County School who will enter ISC in September to study Spanish. Miss Kelly, United Joint High School senior and salutatorian, is the daughter of Arthur and Mrs. Kelly of Seward.

Scout Office Announces Summer Hours for Indiana Center
The Kalus Rock Girl Scout Service Center will open 9 p.m. to noon Monday through Friday starting June 1. It will close July 12 to August 13, with hours returning to 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on September 1. Also notes the South American hoatzin has unusually colored eyes.
