Harrisburg June 2 The State Water and Power Resources Board moves to speed flood control in summer surveys in the Allegheny watershed at Tionesta and Crooked Creek dams. Army engineers estimate damages at Crooked Creek 876,158 and at Tionesta 1,614,876. The program focuses on the Allegheny watershed Johnstown Susquehanna areas with dike work from Wilkes Barre to Maryland line. A Wilkes-Barre four and one half mile dike, cost 1,945,835 with land damages 270,000 is approved with state share.
