A fragmented notice notes graduation references from Pennsylvania schools and hints at future service. It also states an option before the Commissioner of Banking by Frank Peravascense to engage in the sale of steamship tickets and orders, advertising authority to sell transportation tickets, to be conducted at Rassiter Canoe Township Indiana County Pennsylvania.
The commission's report outlines sal ary raises for clerks and officials across the postal service. First class clerks would move to 1400 or 2300, with others graduated between. Superintendent division heads would reach 4200 annually, assistants 3200, chief clerks 3000, and assistants 2000. Inspectors would earn 2400 to 4200 plus travel allowances. Headquarters inspectors would be paid 1600 to 2600, with a broad grant for first class post tors under 6000 yearly.
