Miss Mary Guinan of Middletown New York received the Medal of Honor from President Roosevelt for risking her life to save John C Runyon an elderly man in danger of being struck by a train. She wedged between two trains that passed narrowly apart and pulled him to safety before he collapsed.

No More Union Beer Brewery Union Expelled
The Brewery Workers' union was expelled from the Federation of Labor in Chicago on June 1. The last barrel of "union" beer in Chicago and the nation has been manufactured.
