Man Released on 1000 Dollar Bond in Child's Death Case
Peter Shero, 36, of Saint Benedict Cambria county, released on $1000 bond after arrest by state police for alleged responsibility in the death of Ronald Edwards a two year old Ebensburg child injured fatally Sunday morning near Alverda in a collision of automobiles driven by his father and Shero. Shero admitted responsibility at Spangler hospital where the child died from a skull fracture. Eight others injured in the crash include Clair and Mrs Edwards and John Jasper. Jasper, 43, Blairsville, is inSpangler hospital with a fractured clavicle and lacerations. Check Passer Waives Hearing in forgery case John Wargaman waived prelim hearing and was committed on charges of forging fraudulent checks drawn on banks, alleged to have passed at D C Penney and Bert Orr store. He had previously worked for J N Blose, a Shelocta farmer. L Foreman, 24, Black Lick, held for further proceedings.
