Aged veteran Elliott M Lydick dies at 85 in Indiana
Comrade Elliott Miles Lydick aged 86, son of William and Jane Lydick, born December 2 1845 in Green township, died at his East Oak Street home after 8 am. A Civil War veteran, he served in the Two Hundred and Sixth Pennsylvania Volunteers Signal Corps and was last surviving member of a G A R quartet in Indiana county. He held three terms as Justice of the Peace and belonged to Indiana Post No 28. Survived by widow and numerous children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Funeral Friday at 2:30 pm at his residence with Rev. John Scott and Rev. J J Davis officiating. interment Greenwood cemetery.
