Pennsylvanias 12 000 National Guardsmen wrapped up their two week tour of duty at Camp Muir Mt Gretna Pa with reviews for their commanding officers. Units from western sections headed home today and others depart tomorrow morning as reservations at two camps are emptied by Saturday night. Some units faced inspections by federal Army inspectors this afternoon and officers hope next year to mobilize the entire guard for a two week training session as in World War era.
Stanley Sheftick and his 25 year old wife Lucille resumed their honeymoon in Pittsburgh after two weeks in jail failed to yield substantiated charges. They wed at Punxsutawney and lodged in a North Side rooming house as police suspicions faded following grand jury action. The Avonmore drum corps was judged the best in its class, with Emerson of Fayette county winning the longest travel prize. Judges included Major C. Mc Twain of Indiana, the Rev. W. W. Zundel, the Rev. T. W. Eschenaur, Major J. J. Daub, and A. C. Woodle.
Harrisburg July 27 Gov Gifford Pinchot indicates a special session on relief may be called to address unemployment and broader needs. He says extra costs could be justified if money goes to lasting aid and that an election may push the legislature to pass laws in the public interest.

Indiana visitors included J A Gibson and daughter Helen and Louise Patterson. Mizar the star within the Big Dipper handle has a tiny companion.
