Nolf of Church Street departs by morning B R & P train for Punxsutawney, will meet Nolf's wife and children there for a week in New Bethlehem.
Christopher C. Sutter aged 76 died at his Covode home from complications of diseases. A member of the Evangelical church he leaves a wife and children John of Punxsutawney D B of Covode and Mrs G A Wachob. Funeral services and interment will be Sunday at 1 pm. The Arrangements Committee of the Presbyterian Association chaired by J L Wright and D C Wells, with S Sherbine, are listed among the officers named for the group.
Wednesday morning last week two dogs attacked a flock of J. L. Loughry on his Marion Center area farm. Five sheep were killed and several wounded before neighbors drove the dogs away. Loughry notified, chased the animals off.
J and Rosa a Hamill merchant suffered a bad accident Thursday afternoon while helping load wheat on a wagon. The wagon tipped throwing him and breaking a forearm bone.
