Automobile engineers announce a device that promises 59 miles per gallon, with tests showing improved pickup instant starts and smoother motors. A Luciusboro meeting outlines Labor Day festivities with Hans Adair as chairman and R M Bond secretary. Actions include noon dinner by the playground, ice cream for all, 175 dozen sandwiches with 40 pounds of meat, 25 pounds navy beans, one bushel potatoes and eggs for potato salad, lemonade by the barrel, free items for Luciusboro employees, and a follow up meeting August 16 to arrange sports.
