An 18 year old, Eugene Reese of 24 South Second Street, was shot in the chest by a companion, George White, 17, in a accidental incident near a reservoir. Reese is listed in critical condition at Indiana Hospital. In a separate crash on Route 80 near Oakland Cemetery, Florence Summerville, 25, suffered possible skull fracture and ankle injuries, and William Dudash, 23, faced reckless driving charges. Indiana Hospital reported Summerville in fair condition. William McCracken, 38, of Clymer, was treated for head lacerations after a Punxsutawney Brookville highway accident.
