Green Township girl released on $5,000 bail
Marie Douglass 16 or 17 year old daughter of Green township farmer John Douglass was released on $5,000 bail after her arrest for murder in the shooting of 15 year old John Anderson of Greenwich. Anderson died at Spangler hospital at 2:45 PM. A preliminary hearing is set for Thursday before Justice Jay J. Hill. The incident occurred at the Douglass farm when berry pickers were told to leave. Douglass claims she fired into the air to frighten trespassers.
