Edward G. Hawk, father of Mrs. Edna Jones of Homer City, died unexpectedly at his farm home near Widnoon in Armstrong County at 9 p.m. Wednesday. A progressive farmer and longtime community citizen, he was brother of Frank and Glenn Hawk, husband of a late wife, and father to Delbert Hawk and several daughters. Survived by 23 grandchildren and two great grandchildren, he was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and Widnoon Lodge, Odd Fellows, with years of service in the U S Internal Revenue service.
