Inmate Mason Seen To Aid Jail Break Attempt
Claude Mason a 42 year old suspect in two Indiana burglaries attempted to break out of Indiana County Jail last night. Three bars in a window were sawed through with a hacksaw. Mason is linked to the break and a hacksaw blade was reportedly sewn into his clothing. William Warnick and local police aided isolation of Mason as deputies search for the tool.

Old Baldy Retaken By Infantry in dawn chase

Truck crashes into parked car in Homer City area
A parked car owned by M Arthur Nicholson of Spangled suffered damages when struck by a truck driven by Lawrence Ford of Indiana R D 3 yesterday afternoon. Ford, driving Sworth on South Seventh street, said he was crowded into the car by an oncoming gasoline truck.
