Red Hungary Cuts Death Sentences For Seven

In Budapest the People’s Supreme Court reduced death sentences to prison terms for seven defendants involved in the October riots in Miskolc that attacked police and hanged seven officers. The court confirmed other harsh punishments, with one teen girl’s life term cut to 15 years.
