C Earl Hollinger of Greencastle was elected president of the Pennsylvania Rural Letter Carriers Association at the closing session of the 32nd annual convention in the Methodist Episcopal church. Easton selected as site for the 1935 meeting. Officers include Valentine B Clark and Max W Lightner. Duffy named president of the Ladies Auxiliary for the coming year. The afternoon program featured Clinton B Eilenberger and National President Ned H Goodell addressing members and auxiliary.

Mrs Verte Strayer a former resident of Indiana and Rutledge Pennsylvania died suddenly at 2p in Rutledge. Born June 6 1874 in Shelocta she studied at Indiana State Normal School class of 1892 and taught in Trwin Pittsburgh and Indiana. She married Christian Strayer in 1904 and worked in missionary and Sabbath school roles before joining the Rutledge Presbyterian church.

Graceton Lass Fatally Hurt In Auto Accident
A seven year old Graceton girl, Anna Karpuack, died at Indiana Hospital from skull fractures and internal injuries after running into a car on the Indiana Blairsville road near the Graceton store. R Kenneth Meckley, 29, of Weir West Virginia, said the child darted into the road as she played with companions. He rushed her to the hospital but she died at 8 a.m. Meckley remains in Indiana pending a coroner's inquest. Funeral services will be held Friday at the Graceton Roman Catholic church.

Jol Edwards a 69 year old Center township resident lies in critical condition at Indiana Hospital after head and chest injuries from a rock fall in the Coral mine owned by Potter Coa and Coke. He was injured while repairing mine tracks and transported by ambulance from the Filekingar mortuary in Homerity. He is an uncle of J. G. Edwards operator of Edwards Motor Company of Indiana.
