Several motorists injured in area road mishaps
An eight year old girl and several others were injured yesterday on district highways. Lynda Olmstead was treated and released from Indiana Hospital after a collision at 4th and Elm Streets. Harold Hull was treated after his car overturned. Both were released. Damages were estimated at 2800 dollars. Two youths were observed for injuries after a one car crash at St St and Stannard Ave. in Indiana. After evaluation at the hospital, both were released. Additional arrests for disorderly conduct were made in Barnesboro and Spangler following complaints of loitering. A separate high speed one car crash in Punxsutawney caused injuries and service outages. Police reported the driver Cedric Dickinson was treated and released. A third incident involved a minor parking lot collision in Indiana.

Ten Month Vigil Ends as Marshals Evict Followers
In Grannis Arkansas AP reports Sarah Ann Nance Cavner and about 30 others were evicted by federal marshals from a three bedroom house where they waited since September 29 for the Second Coming. The eviction follows a custody dispute over Cavner's 14 year old daughter Gay. The group plans to continue their vigil in spirit at a farm house owned by Cavner's sister Elizabeth Bard.

Grace Methodist Church to host bicentennial homecoming
Grace United Methodist Church in Indiana plans a Sunday homecoming as part of a bicentennial celebration. More than 300 attendees are expected for a 10 45 a m service and a covered dish luncheon in Fellowship Hall. The church marks its first post note burning in 1949 and has set July as the four Sundays of bicentennial observances. A July 4 patriotic program and July 11 musical program were held, with a youth service on July 26.
