Three Hurt In District Accidents
Traffic accidents over the past 24 hours injured three people in Punxsutawney and area. Thomas Moore, 18, of 402 Greenwood Ave., Punxsutawney, is in fair condition at Indiana Hospital after a 1 p.m. Friday crash involving a car and motorcycle at South Findley and Union streets. Patricia Enderle, 17, of 100 Ridge Ave., Punxsutawney, was driving the car. Moore was transferred from Adrian Hospital. Also injured were Shirley Ann Peach, 22, and Edward John, 23, in a Route 403 crash near Clymer. both treated at Indiana Hospital for minor injuries. A third collision on N Seventh Street in Indiana damaged vehicles, and two more accidents on Route 36 near McGees Mill and in Punxsutawney left minor or no injuries. Total damage across incidents was several hundred dollars.
