Young Actor Charged In Trunk Murder Mystery
New York police charged 26 year old Edward Palakowski with homicide in the trunk murder of loan shark James Malloy. Palakowski claimed accidental shooting during a debt dispute over 140 dollars with weekly 28 dollar interest. Malloy’s body was found in a trunk after aid by a postal clerk and shipping clues pointed to Palakowski’s apartment and a later delay in a date with Patricia Cunningham. The Swedish tanker Justus Waller picked up 22 survivors from the 3,389-ton Panamanian-registered freighter Clarisse in the Indian Ocean.
