Education conference on the Whole Child Comes to School
A conference on elementary education will be held at Indiana State University in Terre Haute on Thursday February 18. Miss Dorothy Warner, adviser in special education, will speak at 9:30 a.m. on the Whole Child Comes to School focusing on social emotional physical and mental needs. Groups will meet morning and afternoon in arithmetic fine arts language arts and social studies with leaders from Altoona High, Thaddeus Stevens School, Vandergrift, Crawford County and more. The conference ends with group reports and a summary by Miss Warner. Open to public school staff and college students.

Two Die In Plane Crash Near Meadville Pa
A low wing monoplane crashed into a hayfield ten miles north of Meadville killing Roy Davidson the 35 year old Meadville pilot and seriously injuring Raymond Lysowski 27 of Meadville.
