The injured man was taken to Dr Ambrose office with gash cuts on his head and a cut hand and severe shock. After treatment he was moved to Mrs Whitacre's home where he rests today, a condition not causing alarm to friends.

Reunion of Kohlopp and Paffer at Samuel Dora home

The first Kohlopp and Paffer reunion was held at Samuel Dora’s home one mile south of Marchand. By noon about 90 attended the luncheon, and the afternoon featured renewals of acquaintances and a program with the Clark Kellhapp orchestra. Guests continued arriving until the total reached 150.

State road work sets new weekly high record

James L. Stuart, Secretary of Luzh Ways, reports the state’s road construction set a new weekly high with 48 new miles for the week ending July 3, totaling 180.6 miles over three weeks. The department now supervises $20 road contracts employing 16,653 men.
