Indiana State College approves a 200000 addition to the Student Union via the ISC Student Union Association. The two story expansion adds 10400 square feet, three meeting rooms, a serving pantry, a terrace, and preserves Shaver spring. It will offer better food service, expanded offices, a dark room, and more game facilities. Construction starts August 1965 with bids due July 15, and completion expected January 1966. No tuition hike. funds come from higher enrollment.

A 38 year old Pawtucket man, Leo Arthur Messier Jr., was held on federal charges for threatening to assassinate President Johnson.
