Thursday afternoon bridge was played at Miss Dor Daugherty’s St home. Mrs Brenn of Patton visited friends in town. Dorothy Howe visits Pittsburgh relatives. Rev Dr J R Zeigler traveled to Johnstown for a few days with family. Rev Dr Jesse R Zeigler preached at First Presbyterian Church after invitation. The Zeiglers arrived in Johnstown in a new Studebaker.

Christ Episcopal at 9 46 Sunday school 11 00 morning and 5 00 evening prayers. Zion Lutheran at 9 30 Sunday school and 11 00 morning worship with The Dawning of the Morning. Christian Endeavor at 6 50 with The Consecration of Purpose. Belle Sprankle leads evening worship at 9 30 with Dethroned. All sects welcome with good music and fellowship.
The American Red Cross announced it will press 7000 trained nurses into service to help combat infantile paralysis in New York City and other affected centers after an urgent appeal from the City Board of Health. Kerry McMahan and Sue Hurd spent the weekend with friends at Juneau. C E Richardson and children Margaret Belle and Richard spent a week with Indiana Friends returning Thursday. Samuel Sutter and family of New Mexico are visiting relatives in this vicinity.
Miss Vivien Lockard, who has spent the past six weeks visiting friends in Pittsburgh, returned last evening accompanied by her niece Miss Carolyn Opr.
