Quick Work Saves Fisherman's Life
Of CITY, Fa. P-R. D. Mc Gary of Verona is alive today because of the quick work of a fellow fisherman who pulled him from the Allegheny River at nearby Reno. Robert J. Farrow of Pittsburgh and McGary were fishing in shallow water yesterday when Farrow noticed his companion floating face down. He swam to McGary's side, pulled him ashore and applied artificial respiration. Firemen said Farrow's action saved his companion's life. McGary apparently had lost his footing.
