Norman Fy Berringer, 28, Indiana R D 1, was arrested by Punxsutawney State Police on burglary charges related to a disturbance at the Blair Leamer home near Cherry Tree. William Charlton, 28, Barnesboro, was stabbed when an intruder attempted entry. Charlton is treated at Miners Hospital in Spangler. Berringer allegedly accompanied Charlton but did not take part in the attempt. He was scheduled for a hearing today.
