County Youth Dies in Crash Near Butler
Richard Henry Dodson 36 of Rochester Mills was killed returning from Buffalo for the Fourth of July when his car struck a pole after losing control. Passenger George Barenick of Punxsutawney was slightly injured. Dodson, born May 15, 1915, was a Marion Center High School graduate and Acme Steel Company employee. He was survived by his parents, maternal grandparents, and a nephew.

Robert Delancey Marshall died at his home near Beyer at 7 45 p m Thursday from injuries suffered while repairing the hay mow. A timber slipped from a jack and struck him on the head and face causing a frontal and temporal fracture. Born June 25 1898 he was active in the Plainville Presbyterian Church and Sabbath school and held multiple farm and extension posts. Surviving are his widow a mother and a brother J Dale Marshall of Beyer Funeral Sunday at 2 pm EST at the family home with burial in Greenwood Cemetery Indiana.

Two more miners released from hospital after McIntyre blast
