William Lawrence Jeff Beatty aged 44 dies of pneumonia at Indiana Hospital after collapsing at home 308 South Fourth Street. Born January 31 1887 in Mahaffey he learned baking and cooking, worked at Weamer Brothers restaurant then as Elks Club steward, later Greiner's Bakery. Survived by wife and six children Walter Irene Wilda William Silas Mary Bella, plus father William Beatty and two sisters Viola and Shirley Beatty. Funeral Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the home with Rev. Fred L. Pink.
