Howard William Kunselman of Mayport R D 2, age 26, drowned last evening while swimming in a quarry pit near Timblin about six miles from Dayton. He swam with a sister and friends when the accident happened at a pit known as a popular local swim spot. The pit held seven to eight feet of water at the scene. Dayton and New Bethlehem firemen assisted in artificial respiration but failed to revive him as 20 to 30 minutes passed before the body was recovered.
