She married S B Lydick and lived in DuBois before moving to Pittsburgh eighty years ago. Survived by husband and one daughter Mrs Williams of Pittsburgh and several sisters. Funeral services were held at her late home this afternoon.

Negro Hanged After Scaffold Failure at Maryland Penitentiary
Baltimore, Jan 31. John Tackaon, 56, a Negro, mounted the concrete scaffold to be executed for murdering two Negro women. The rope broke, the body fell, a replacement rope was used, and after a second fall he finally died. The warden believed the first shock broke Tackaon’s neck.
