Judge J N Langham handed down terms from three months in the Allegheny County Workhouse to 30 days in county jail to five men and youths who pleaded guilty to breaking and entering larceny and receiving stolen goods. William Austin 50 Blairsville led the group in thefts with others ages 24 and 18 also Blairsville residents. They admitted involvement in the robbery of Pennsylvania Railroad freight cars and the looting of tobacco foodstuffs and merchandise over several months. One member cited for operating a vehicle under the influence received 200 dollar fine and 30 days in jail.
