Summer Nuptials Announce Fyock Widdowson Engagement

Rebecca Fyock daughter of Dale and Mrs Fyock of Penn Run and Fred Widdowson son of Harry and Mrs Widdowson of Indiana R D 3 have announced their engagement. Miss Fyock is a senior at Juniata College Huntingdon and a Penns Manor Joint High School graduate. He is a DeVry Technical Institute graduate now attending Penn State. A June wedding is planned.

County Coeds In Sororities At Penn State Pact

Penn State sororities pledged 245 new members, mostly freshmen women. Indiana County pledges include Jean Ann Grube of 240 Church Street Indiana joining Alpha Delta Pi and Rosanne Kowalsky of Coral joining Delta Zeta. Rushing began with winter term opening early this month.

Indiana Girl Scout Services Unit met at the Community Center with group singing, as Mrs. Robert Fleming announced Mrs. Richard Sollinger as Cookie Chairman. The sale begins late February and a Troop Trip Planning Session is set for February 1 at the Indiana Service Center. Debby Bell Debby Luxenberg and Kathy Wille were chosen to receive support for 1985 Round-Up in Idaho and will share their experiences. Plans for a Girl Scout Week Rally March 24 at Fisher Auditorium include Juliette Lowe Friendship fund contributions. The highlight was John Fetterman’s The Growing-up Tree film and a Troop Committee film strip by Mrs. Donald Moorhead. Next meeting February 16 has an international theme.
