A Blairville photo company was conceived by local businessmen thirty five years ago and formed next morning with incorporators Freeman Wilkinson Thomas H Maher Dr J R B Carson Milton Kerr Edgar J Graff Jas M Harvey John Graff and A B McCabe Only Wilkinson Maher and F J Graff remain alive from the original incorporators Freeman Wilkinson served as manager for years followed by G E Crist About twenty years ago The company opened the first exchange in the Brown Building then moved to East Market and Stewart streets and later to the Blairsville Telephone Company building at South Stewart and Brown streets in 1925 The exchanges and offices were housed in a large two story brick structure costing over forty thousand dollars Continued on Page 8 Cal 2.

Explosion at Greensburg home injures Gepinski family
In Standard near Greensburg Pennsylvania an early morning explosion of a small motion picture projector burned five Gepinski family members. Joseph younger man operated the machine when heat from an oil lamp caused the film to explode. One boy, Frank Gesinaki, 16, suffered severe facial and body burns.
