Other visitors include E B Campbell, P McCartney, R N Ray from Johnstown and Richard G C Rankin of Pittsburgh visiting his daughter at the Normal School. Miss Jane EB Leonard, preceptress at the Normal School, is ill with grippe. Agnes Hoffman of Oak street returns from Greensburg. Hall Blair and Mrs Williamson welcome him in Pittsburg. Grant Snyder and Alex Dunbar, Glen Campbell hotel proprietors, registered at the New Moore. Members of a Masonic meeting depart for Williamsport. Strong family members from Swissvale, Nol o and Strongstown visit for estate matters. License applicants attending court listed at the Clawson House.
Mrs Jane Simpson wife of James Simpson died at her home in Seward Nebraska on December 27 at age 79 She was an earnest Christian woman mourned by friends in her western home and surrounding area She was born Jane McMullen daughter of Alexander and Catherine McMullen Center township Survived by husband two married daughters in Nebraska and two sisters Mrs Sarah A Sorensen Thistle Utah and Miss Hilen McMullen Indiana James Kunkle of Center township died January 12 aged 52 The funeral was at his late home with Rev Mee Gil officiating Interment at Crescent Cemetery
Jesse Braden McAdoo aged 4 years 7 months died January 14 1920 at Hamstead due to pyemia from tonsillitis Funeral held January 16 at grandfather WoW Shorts Grove City PA interment Woodland cemetery. David Craig Coffman only child of D Craig and Blanche Coffman died January 7 1910 at Apollo of an illness from measles aged 5 years 7 days Funeral held January 9 1910 Redenaday inter Apollo cemetery.

A salesman from 617 7th Ave Peoria HL reports severe kidney trouble but says after using one bottle of Foley's Kidney Pills he was entirely relieved and recommends the remedy to all. The ad claims Foley's Kidney Pills are anti septic and will restore health and strength, sold by all druggists.
William Grant of Blairsville and formerly of Indians died Sunday morning from pneumonia at age 42. Funeral will be held at 2 o'clock today at North cemetery. He is survived by his wife and four children. Grant was well known in the county for forty years of service with Buchanan & Bennets.
Indianapolis January report on the United Mine Workers national convention shows a resolution for wage increases across all districts. President Lewis presented the measure, urging that no district sign contracts until all wage agreements are negotiated. John Mitchell defended the federation's work and urged continued organization.
Berlin reports an Atlantic balloon crossing arranged by Joseph Brocker with May 45, 1910 as the launch from the city. New York promoter S. I. Schwartz and the Gang company of Mainzheim back the project. The semi circle balloon, built at Hamburg, targets Vancouver B C as its destination, measuring 5,000 double feet with two fifty horse power motors and carrying six persons including two engineers.
Berlin reports Dr Anvehroce Miaup, a noted inventor, pledges to attempt a polar voyage using a new submarine design. The project aims to reach the North Pole by navigating wider waters at great depth for extended periods as part of a broader watercraft development.
