Burial Mass For Doctor Dooley In St Louis Cathedral
A solemn pontifical mass for jungle doctor Thomas A Dooley was scheduled at St Louis Cathedral this morning. It was learned that Dooley was posthumously awarded Laos highest honor the Order of the White Parasol by King Savang Vadhana. The award was to be placed on his casket by Laos ambassador Sisouk Na Chimpassak. Dooley who died of cancer in New York one day after his 34th birthday, was widely known for relief work in Southeast Asia.
