Fractures Leg in Jump From Freight Train
William Kristotki, 20, of Johnstown, hopped a Pennsylvania Railroad freight train seeking work. He jumped from the moving train at New Florence Thursday afternoon to avoid detection, fracturing his left leg above the knee. A track walker found him and he was taken to Latrobe hospital after being placed aboard a stationary train. He admitted being out of work and hoped to find employment in the Pittsburgh district.
