Martha Hamilton, teaching at Chambersville, spent Sunday at home in Ninth street. J C Rugh left for Johnstown to visit son J M Rugh and daughter Mrs Eppley. Ethel Fay Simpson, teacher near Indiana, visited parents. William Carmahan postmaster at Shelocta attended Citizens Bank directors meeting. Frank Clawson, station master at B R P, spent Sunday in Punxsutawney. Margaret Sloan returned from visiting friends in Indiana. Sam Rinn and Ellsworth Campbell, Kiski school students, visited home over Sunday. Charles H Miller, tailor, left for St Louis for National Tailors Association meeting. Max Brinkman of Pittsburgh visiting William Brinkman. Lucy Graham, visiting Barnesboro and Burnside, returned home on Wayne avenue. Mr and Mrs Guy Fleming and relatives visited Antha Dickson in Homer City on Sunday. Prof Elbert M Jackson of the Normal School returned to Indiana from Oswego N Y for step-mother illness.

Recent Deaths continued from the First Page note the funeral for Mary Samantha Long Reed of Turtle Creek scheduled for Tuesday. Reed, 62, died January 20 at her Penn avenue home. born near Blairsville, she leaves husband, son Norman W. Reed of New Kensington, daughter Mrs. Mabel Hill of Mt. Jewett, five sisters, two brothers, and exrand-son James McGregor. Also listed is the death of an infant son of Mr. and Mrs. James McGregor in Dubois, after illness from typhoid fever, with funeral attendees from Dubois this afternoon.
