The Ladies Auxiliary of the Elderton District Fire Department met with Mrs. Delphine Thomas as president in charge and Mrs. Florence Freehling leading devotions. Thirteen members attended as the secretary read minutes and the treasurer reported finances. They voted a cash donation to focal firemen and planned serving a Lions dinner January 26 at the fire hall. A bingo social awarded prizes to Mrs. Zahniser and Mrs. Ruffner. Discussion covered the Blue and Gold Banquet next month and enforcing uniforms at den meetings. During Boy Scout Week February 7 13 all Pack 35 cubs should wear their uniforms to school daily.
