Collision at intersection injures three and wagon driver unhurt
A collision of a car and a farmer's wagon at the Benjamin Franklin Highway and Penn Run Heilwood road Saturday night injures three, none seriously. George Kummer 22 and Fred Gifford 22 of Evans City Pa were taken to Indiana Hospital. Kummer was a passenger in Gifford's car. Elmer Hoffman 46 of Belsano Cambria county drove the other car. Hoffman and Kummer suffered head and hand injuries. Hollenbaugh 18 of Penn Run drove the wagon unhurt. No rear light on the wagon was noted by state police.

Prisoner Dies in County Jail After Cerebral Hemorrhage
A 68 year old man Samuel Holliday awaiting trial for allegedly obtaining merchandise under false pretense died in the county jail early yesterday morning from a cerebral hemorrhage suffered Saturday night. He had lived alone in Center township near Graceton and was jailed January 16 after a preliminary hearing before Justice of the Peace W. L. Hutchinson. The death occurred at 3 15 a m with the sheriff noting the episode occurred about 7 30 p m Saturday. The body was turned over to Streams mortuary.
