Brooklyn youth killed in attempted assault at home

Felix Betelli of Brooklyn, aged years, was stabbed to death after attempting to assault Lena Campano and her seven year old brother Nicholas in their home. Betelli fired at Campano, was wounded by a pistol shot, and then slain by Nicholas with a hunter knife.

Gift Tablet Aims From Chinese Commissioners at Museum

Tuan Fang and Tai thing Chi, Imperial Chinese commissioners, on a study tour of American economy, left Chicago by special train for the east. They will spend today in Pittsburgh and reach Washington tomorrow. Tuan Fang expressed a wish to present to the Field Museum of Natural History a rare ancient Chinese stone tablet akin to the one in Tokio's Imperial museum. Only three tablets are said to exist, the third being in Tuan Fang's palace.

Four Bridgeman Brothers Buried in One Grave

In Hurricane West Virginia January 22 four Bridgeman brothers Peter Edward Philip and Melville were buried in a single grave at Murricane near Huntington after dying in the Detroit mines explosion on New River last Thursday. A sister, widow of another Detroit victim, remains unconscious at her Hurricane home with feared risk of mental collapse.

Washington reports foreign trade data for 1905 with the Netherlands exports totaling 73.0 million dollars and imports from the Netherlands at 26.0 million. Belgium trade shows exports to the United States at 38.44 million and imports from Belgium at 26.0 million, per the Bureau of Statistics.
