Mrs. Moore discussed electricity in the home. Mrs. George Z. Edwards entertained with piano selections. Mrs. J. N. Cochran spoke on The Study of Pennsylvania. Lunch followed hostess service.

Pittsburgh Man Released Here After Settlement
Frank Sacks of Pittsburgh faced larceny charges in Indiana and was heard by Squire Bernard O'Hara Saturday afternoon. He was released after a settlement and the stolen goods were returned. Sacks and three Pittsburgh companions had been selling Lenolium in the area, hauling it in a Dodge truck. A heavy leather coat owned by Mark O’Hara disappeared from McGregor and Thomas’ garage, later recovered in the truck. Coral special officer Charles Phillips arrested the group as they passed through town and brought them back to Indiana.

Plane Crash Injures Three Hunters Returnees
In Wilmington NC on January 31 three men returning from a search over Brunswick river marshes for four missing bay hunters were seriously injured when their plane crashed during landing. Captain Fred Krenerg, a former German flying officer, suffered a fractured skull. Deputy Sheriff Carl Cook broke his back. Otto Schmidt had internal injuries. No traces of the missing hunters were found after long sweeps of the marshland and the plane had abandoned the search when it fell at the Withington airwart.

Funeral services for the late Mrs Elizabeth Lucas Simpson were conducted at the Presbyterian Church by Rev Prugh on Saturday at 2 PM. widow of Thomas Simpson and daughter of William and Nancy Lucas, she spent most of her life in Homer and resided with her niece Margaret McQuiston after his death. She was a charter member active in church work and is survived by nine nephews and eight nieces.
