January 20 The Pennsylvania State College will grant college credit to students returning from military and naval service. Credit equals one month of enlistment and applies to all in service, private or officer. Credits may count as general elective and can offset required work without affecting degree requirements.
Washington dispatch reports Frank Morricon secretary of the American Memorial of Labor states to the International News Survey that employers nationwide have raised wages to quell unrest and imply a concerted movement behind the scenes. Also noted are social visits and local townsfolk including Mrs Verner Hollister, Mr Bruce Porter, and the Cammehail family in nearby communities.
Farm offers 181 acres with good buildings and a public road through the property. Several selling reasons noted and inquiry directed to John McConnell. Also offered is a team of work horses about 1600 pounds with wagon and harness, plus a Ford Truck in A1 condition, via Hetrick's Drug Store.
