He held leadership roles with Apollo Lodge F and A M Syria Temple AAONM and Coudersport Consistory and served as president of Apollo Mutual Fire Insurance and director of Apollo Trust. Surviving are two sisters a brother a niece and two nephews. Funeral services Saturday at 2 pm at his residence with Rev Broadiey East officiating and burial at Edgewood Cemetery Saltsburg with Masonic ritual. He was educated at Elders Ridge Academy Springs School Jefferson College and the University of Pittsburgh Law School.
