Alvie Fisher Critically Hurt At Blairsville
Alvie Fisher a lineman for the Associated Gas and Electric Co at the Blairsville area was badly injured when his right hand contacted a 2200 volt electric wire while repairing a substation near the National Plate Glass Company plant. He was hurled eight feet to the ground, suffered burns shock back contusions and a fractured vertebra with a dislocation. He remained under care at the Indiana Hospital with condition reported satisfactory.

Saltsburg Woman Found On Latrobe Road
Mrs. Lucinda Linsenbigler, 41, wife of Howard Linsenbigler of Peitonite, was found unconscious along the Latrobe New Alexandria road last night and taken to Latrobe Hospital, where doctors said she suffered exhaustion. She was to be discharged today. Hospital staff noted she collapsed while walking from Saltsburg toward Somer.

Langley Dies in Kentucky at 69
Representative John W. Langley of Kentucky, who served ten terms in Congress before a liquor violation conviction, died at his Pikeville home at age 69 from pneumonia. He spent 11 months in Atlanta Penitentiary in 1926 for conspiring to withdraw 1,400 cases of bonded whiskey, later pardoned by President Coolidge.

Born September 28 1863 in Washington township Indiana County she married December 17 1883. Survived by husband a son John Ross four daughters two in Blairsville one in Youngwood one in Monaca a brother a sister seventeen grandchildren and a great grandchild. Funeral at 2 30 p m tomorrow at her residence under Rev R B McClure. Interment Blairsville Cemetery.
