Gftenia Jan. 18. Police reported the first radio theft in the Marello district. Simon Davis told police a burglar broke into his cart and home after midnight and took a radio receiving set valued at 960. Nothing else was reported stolen. authorities think the thief acted to obtain the radio.

Harrisburg Jan 18 INS Thirteen persons convicted of malice in the second degree and four in the first degree filed petitions before the Pardon Board today. Judges hearings drew criticism as to leniency in Derr case and others. Judge Henry C. Quigley of Center County presided. a letter from Derr’s counsel was believed to support the petitions.
