Death Comes Sudden to Lloyd Dock
Lloyd Dock, Indiana business man linked to the State Highway Department, died at 227 Clymer Ave at 11 45 p m Wednesday from angina pectoris. Born 1890 in Winterburn near Penfield, he was a mining engineer and longtime with Rochester & Pittsburgh Coal Co and L W Robinson before moving to Indiana in 1918. He joined the Highway Department in 1931. Survived by widow Helen Zeigler Dock a daughter Norma his parents two brothers Ernest and Carl and two sisters Dora and Mrs Walter Lias. Funeral at Streams Funeral Home Saturday at 2 pm conducted by Rev Holt Hughes with burial in Oakland cemetery.

One Arrest in Lockport Thefts
P R R detectives say one arrest has been made in a wave of thefts in Lockport. Robert Potts, 40, of Lockport, pleaded guilty to larceny before Squire Swarnawelder and was committed to Westmoreland County jail in Greensburg in default of 500 bond to await sentencing. He was charged with stealing a motor and a pump from a passenger coach on September 26. A home search Friday led to the arrest.

Dr Charles H Mitchell Mercer county medical examiner testified at Bruno Hauptmann trial that the Lindbergh baby died almost instantly from a very extensive skull fracture inflicted while alive. He described a large fracture extending behind the left ear and around the head with a brain blood clot indicating the child was alive when injured. Mitchell affirmed he saw the same child in a photograph and that the facial muscles remained intact despite the autopsy findings.
