Governor elect Gifford Pinchot plans no further weekend announcements as he forms his administration. John A. McSparran of Lancaster becomes Secretary of Agriculture in the new cabinet, amid party shifts and support for the Prohibition stance. McSparran, farmer and State Grange master, helped secure Pinchot’s victory and once backed McSparran’s rival position.
The eleventh annual luncheon of Indiana Co operative Dairy Company stockholders convened in the Crystal Room Moore Hotel with twenty of twenty two stockholders and their ladies in attendance. William Neff performed magic before Hon. Warry Lydick delivered the principal address on Farmers cooperation and better tax, followed by a business session. Walter R. Piedler, manager, discussed car and winter vehicle parts offered by Auto Parts Co. Inc.
Miss Houlder of Australia lectured at the Prohibition Victory Luncheon marking the eleventh birthday of prohibition. The event, hosted by the Indiana Women’s Christian Temperance Union, drew over 200 members in the Presbyterian Church social hall. She earned the title Crimson Flame Orator of Two Continents and spoke about her travels observing prohibition effects across the United States and Canada. Continued on Page Three.

Subscriptions turned in today count toward winning an extra hundred dollars this week for the top new subscribers in the period ending tonight. Campaign Headquarters stays open until nine for reports, supplies, and candidate needs as workers expect surprises and blossoming campaigns in the final hours.
Harry Mosher, former Indiana Evening Gazette representative, delivered promptly and filed returns. He moved with his parents to Fairport New York where he graduated, then passed the Civil Service exam for a mail carrier and joined the Fairport post office. After two years he moved to Cleveland and became a postal railway mail clerk at the terminal.

The Ninth Annual Stockholders Meeting of the drtbena association is set for January 20 at 900 B. M. in the Indiana Theatre Building to elect three directors and address related business.
An Oldsmobile coach owned by R. M. Wainwright of Livermore and a Ford roadster owned by Chan Cavanaugh of Lucerne were demolished after a side swipe on the concrete bridge over Two Lick Creek on the Indiana Homer City highway at night. Both operators escaped injury. State Patrolman R H Raymond said it took over ninety minutes to remove the wrecks, with traffic limited to one lane during the clearing.

Ub. Ow. Harvey of Indiana was charged by State Patrolman Alfre Huge with operating a motor vehicle under the influence. Held for court and jailed in default of 500 bail after a hearing before Squire C. McLain. Harvey, driving a Chrysler Sedan, crashed into a Ford coupe driven by H. F. Connaughey of Blacklick on the Indiana Homer City highway near the Bennett farm. No injuries but both cars damaged. Patrolmen Ware and Ramer saw Harvey later, and a physician’s exam confirmed intoxication.
