William Small Killed In Strip Mining Accident
William Small age 55 of Punxsutawney, partner in Small & Sanders contractors for Meade Run Coal, died Monday at Brockport during strip mining. A loosened tree toppled by coal removal struck him, fracturing his skull. He was known in Indiana and was brother to former resident James Small.
